iPhone Xs launch : Release, Price & Specifications

Apple in 2017 introduced i phone 8, i phone 8 plus and i phone 10  that was different from what it had been selling till then. The i phone x was bezel-less, removed the home button and was one of the most expensive apple phone had ever put in a box.

In short, it’s going get a lot more awkward this year to explain that brilliant new iPhone purchase you made to office colleagues and friends, more so because they will all have that ugly notch and mainly be differentiated only by their physical size. Here's waht we can expect from new i phone :

Apple launches iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro and Apple TV

iPhone 6s and 6s Plus

Recently Apple launched two new version of iPhones, the 6s and 6s Plus, which are the same size as last year's 6 and 6 Plus.

They look largely similar, although they do come in a new "rose gold" colour. What's under the hood is more interesting.

The new iPhones also have an upgraded "A9" processor which the company said made them up to twice as fast. They go on sale on September 25, priced from £539, and can be pre-ordered from September 12.

Apple TV

Another product launched by apple is Apple TV, the company's set-top box, has received a major upgrade that Apple hopes will make it the centre of your living room.

The device has a new operating system, tvOS, which will allow developers to create apps for it, with a heavy focus on gaming.

It has deep integration with Siri, the voice-controlled personal assistant of the iPhone. Apple TV also has an impressive, touch sensitive remote that is used to select programmes, and is motion sensitive for use in gaming.

The Apple TV goes on sale in October. UK pricing hasn't been announced yet, but it will cost $149 for the 32GB model and $199 for the 64GB version.

The iPad Pro is a major upgrade in processing power, has a bigger screen and is almost as thin as the iPad Air, but perhaps most exciting are its accessories.

iPad Pro

For those of you who find their iPad too small, Apple has unveiled a 12.9-inch version of the tablet, compared to the 9.7 inches of the iPad Air.

Apple Pencil

Another product launched by apple is the "Apple Pencil", a sort-of stylus that responds to how hard it is being pressed on the iPad's screen, and showed off a range of applications such as handwriting and drawing.

It also showed off the "Smart Keyboard", a case that includes physical keys, in a clear sign that it is further targeting laptop users.

Apple Watch

The second version of the Apple Watch software, watchOS2, got a release date - September 16.

Fashion house Hermès is also teaming up with Apple to launch an Apple Watch, which has a custom strap and some new watch faces. That'll set you back £1,000 or more

How to Make a Call on Apple Watch: Its very simple

How to Make a Call on Apple Watch

Using a watch to make calls is no longer a difficult task. The Apple Watch brings all of your contacts to the portable small screen, making it almost as easy to call loved ones on your wrist as it is on your smartphone. There are several easy ways to call loved ones from your Apple Watch -- here's how to do them.

Using Siri

1. First Lift the Apple Watch towards your head.

2. Then you have to Say "Hey Siri, call (person's name)." Alternatively, you can press hold the digital crown to activate Siri.

Calling Your Favorites

1. First Press the side button of apple watch to pull up your favorite contacts. You can set up favorites on your iPhone.

2. You can use the touch screen or the digital crown, scroll through your favorites until you find your desired contact and tap their icon.

3. Tap the phone icon on the bottom left to begin the call.

Make Calls Using the iPhone App

1. Select the green,  Phone app (showing call icon) from your Apple Watch's home screen.

2. After that Select Favorites, Recents or Contacts to pick someone to call. Favorites pulls up the favorite contacts you set on your iPhone, Recents displays recent callers and Contacts allows you to scroll your full list of contacts.

3. Select a contact from your apple watch.

4. Tap the phone icon on the bottom left to make a call.

5. Once you're connected, you can adjust call volume using the slider at the top of the screen, mute yourself with the icon on the bottom right and end the call with the icon on the bottom left.

6. To hand the call off to your iPhone, select the green bar that says "Touch to return to call" at the top of your iPhone's display.

Apple MacBook Air review

Apple MacBook Air

Pros: Thanks to a new generation of processors, the MacBook Air gets improved battery life, while maintaining its now classic thin and light metal exterior.

Cons: Little else has changed over the past few years, while the competition is catching up on design, battery life and usability. The low-res screen feels more dated than ever.

Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, 2015)

Apple recently launched flagship MacBook Air dutifully added the latest generation of Intel processors, and sometimes tweaked the included ports or the type of solid state memory inside, but those changes have felt very minor.

But that doesn't mean we're writing the MacBook Air off. It remains one of the most universally useful laptops you can buy, thanks to a still-slim design, excellent keyboard and touchpad, generally fast performance and great battery life. That the Air is the least-expensive MacBook, starting at $around 999 (£849 or AU$1,099) for the 13-inch model, means it's within reach for many shoppers who might not want to go up to the $1,299 or more being asked for the latest ultraportables from Apple, Samsung and others. (A model with an 11.6-inch screen and otherwise very similar specs is available for even less.)

Apple Acquired Linx Israeli Camera Company

Latest News of Apple

Recently Apple has acquired LinX, an Israeli camera tech company whose recent offerings are a camera which is multi-aperture models and can enable effects like background focus blur, parallax images and 3D picture capture. This statement is provided by company officials.

Apple acquiressmaller technology companies from time to time.
The acquisition was valued at around $20 million according to the Wall Street Journal. The Israeli startup’s hardware was targeted at tablets and smartphones specifically.

Apple also planning to include putting the tech to use in its notebooks, replacing those old cameras modules with better performing parts while respecting size constraints. This could be very helpful and handy in building devices like the MacBook, for instance, while retaining better picture quality.

One of LinX’s big stated hardware features and advanteges, according to the company’s own communications, is achieving selective focus post-capture in camera. This is a popular option for modern devices, and one that Apple could benefit and lead market from in future devices. Still, the big advantages of the multi-aperture design for the iPhone maker are probably around producing the best results in terms of low light, HDR and color fidelity with general, everyday picture-taking.
